The Company was relaunched upon the completion of a transaction between Asia Global Crossing and China Netcom, in which Asia Netcom, a company organized by China Netcom on behalf of a consortium of investors, acquired substantially all of Asia Global Crossing's operating subsidiaries, excluding Pacific Crossing Ltd. and related entities.
